Don’t you hate it when you’re watching a play or movie and you want to tell the main character something but you can’t? In the FTHS Drama Department’s new play, the audience participates in the performance. The first play of the year, “Murder’s in the Heir” is a murder mystery and comedy where the audience chooses the ending.

This is also senior Martin Hanson’s first time co-directing a play.

“At first we had trouble connecting with each other, because it was just a group of people that didn’t really know each other just kind of doing a play together,” he said. “But very recently we talked a lot, and we really took the time to get to know each other, and I think that we benefited from it, so that was the main struggle, but we’ve overcome that recently.”

All of the money made from this show will go to help better Foothill’s drama department, which they hope will help them to become more well-known. They started performing again last year with “Night of the Teenage Zombies” and “The Carol Burnett Show.”
