During Foothill Intervention, Reinforcement, and Enrichment (FIRE), lunch and after school on Wed. Sept. 7 and Thurs. Sept. 8, auditions for the Foothill’s annual fall play took place in room F108 with the Drama and English instructor Sarah Page.
According to Page, “the general plot is of an old woman. She has flashbacks to when she was a famous Hollywood actress, and then suddenly she changes her will and it seems that many people who had some sort of role in her life are all after her money. One day, she drops dead, and a library cop who came to collect a fine decides to become like a police officer and investigate the murder.”
The plot then evolves into an 85-minute discovery of the identity of the killer.
There were approximately 20 auditions in total to fill up a cast of 21 people, 7 of which are male, 7 female, and 7 of unspecified gender.
This play will be performed in Spirito Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 2, Nov. 4, Nov. 9 and Nov. 10. The price of admission will be $7 for adults and $5 for students.
