On Tuesday night, the girls’ golf team competed against St. Bonaventure High School at the Buenaventura Golf Course. They were defeated by 39 points with final scores of 276-315.
Coach Janey Dunn believed that the team needs to work on staying calm at the start of a match as they started off a little nervous.
“[W]e had a little first tee jitters, but after the first hole everyone calmed down and played well,” Dunn said.
She felt that the team also had things they did well while competing.
“Everyone played well today and we shot the best score of our season thus far,” Dunn said.
Dunn liked how the team competed and is “looking forward to the rest of the season.”
“I [am] so proud of the team,” she said.
The team has had three wins and four losses in both league and overall.
